Universities, parliamentary democracy, human rights, the industrial revolution and the modern economy all grew from this continent.
This is not a past to be ashamed of. It is a foundation on which we can build the future.

We do not need to start from zero. We have scale, an advanced economy, people, knowledge and one of the highest standards of living in the world.
More than the population of the United States, and a vast community of talent, consumers and citizens.
The EU is one of the world’s largest economies and has the resources to compete globally.
Different languages, cultures and economies, but one common market and one shared future.
Divided, we will be weaker. Together, Europe can remain a global player.

The problem is not a lack of people, money or knowledge. The problem is a lack of shared direction. Our task is not to reinvent Europe. Our task is to connect its strength.
The next stage
Europe does not need a revolution
EuropaSI is not proposing the construction of a new Europe. It is proposing that Europe be completed.
The European project gave us peace, trade, freedom of movement and one of the highest standards of living in the world.
Today it needs a next stage of development, so that Europe can compete with the United States and China, create its own technologies, protect its interests and retain agency in a world of great powers.
We are not building a new Europe.
We are completing Europe.
The challenge
Europe is becoming increasingly dependent
We have not lost our potential. We have lost direction.
- on American technologies,
- on Asian production,
- on imported raw materials,
- on external security guarantees.

Why now?
Because the world in which Europe could quietly rely on peace, cheap energy and globalisation is coming to an end.
War has returned to Europe
Security is no longer theoretical. Europe must be able to protect its borders, people, infrastructure and future.
AI is reshaping the economy
Artificial intelligence will change work, education, industry and public administration. Europe cannot be only a user of other people’s technologies.
The world is splitting into blocs
The United States, China and other powers are building their own spheres of influence. Europe must be one of the world’s poles, not merely a market for others.
Energy is becoming strategic
Cheap, stable energy determines industry, prices, competitiveness and independence. Without it, Europe will be weaker.
That is why this manifesto is being written now. Not out of nostalgia for the past, but out of responsibility for the future.

This is not utopia. These are decisions we can make today.

It needs countries that compete through ideas, technologies and effectiveness, and then cooperate to deploy the best solutions.

Priorities
What needs to happen?
Europe has people, factories, science and capital. The problem is not a lack of capability. The problem is fragmented decision-making.
Security
Europe must be able to defend itself with its own industry, its own maintenance capacity and its own reserves.
- France has aerospace, space technologies, nuclear energy and a strong defence industry.
- Germany has engineering, vehicles, industrial systems, automation and the ability to scale production.
- Poland, Czechia, the Baltic states and Northern Europe have eastern-flank experience, logistics, production and growing capabilities in drones and defence systems.
Strategic procurement should strengthen European factories. In a crisis, buying equipment is not enough. We must be able to repair it, replenish it and keep producing.
Energy
Europe needs cheap, stable and predictable energy, because without it there is no industry, AI, defence or competitive business.
- France can provide stable nuclear energy and expertise for new projects.
- Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Spain and Portugal can strengthen Europe through hydro, wind, solar and offshore energy.
- Poland and Central Europe can become a major arena for grid modernisation, nuclear power, storage and energy-intensive industry.
The goal should be common infrastructure: interconnectors, storage, transmission grids and a market that reduces price differences between countries.
Technology
Europe must create its own solutions, not only regulate technologies created elsewhere.
- The Netherlands has critical expertise in machines for semiconductor manufacturing.
- Estonia shows how a digital state, electronic identity and online public administration can work.
- Sweden, Finland, Germany, France and Italy have strengths in telecoms, automation, space, robotics and advanced production.
The biggest risk is not a lack of talent. It is that European founders build excellent companies, and then scale them in the United States because capital, markets and ambition are easier to find there.
Industry
Europe must again produce strategic goods: components, machines, electronics, medicines, ammunition, batteries, drones and energy systems.
- Southern Europe can provide energy, ports, logistics and production based on renewable sources.
- Central Europe can scale production, maintenance, assembly, logistics and engineering support.
- Western and Northern Europe can provide technology, capital, quality standards and the most advanced systems.
This is not a return to old industry. It is a new generation of industry: automated, digital, energy-secure and resilient against external pressure.
Action
What can an ordinary person do?
A manifesto without action is only complaint. Action begins with simple choices that strengthen or weaken our own environment every day.
- Buy European products. When you have a choice, choose things made in Europe. If we buy only the cheapest goods from outside, we teach the world that price matters more than work, quality and the security of our neighbours.
- Support local companies. The more small and medium-sized businesses a country has, the more stable its economy becomes. Order locally, pay fairly and help companies that employ people around you.
- Build technological skills. Do not only look backwards. Think about what you will be doing in five years, and what you need to learn now to be able to lead others then.
- Invest in Europe. Capital votes too. Support European projects, products, universities, start-ups and companies that are building something lasting here.
- Talk about the future. It is not enough to complain about problems. We need to ask what we can build, who can build it and how we can help the best ideas grow in Europe.

Europe is entrepreneurs, workers, teachers, scientists, engineers, parents and students.

It is an initiative of people who believe that Europe’s future is not predetermined.
We believe that Europe can regain the ability to create technologies, build industry, attract talent and shape the direction of global development.
We do not want to return to the past. We want to build the future together.
